POC Usage Policy

This policy governs your access to and use of the 48-hour proof-of-concept (“POC”) built for your project. Read it before accessing the POC viewer. By accessing the viewer you agree to these terms.

POC is 48deploy IP

Owned by us during the review period, until full project delivery and payment.

Review only

Access is for evaluation and feedback — not distribution, reproduction, or production use.

Access is logged

Every view event is recorded with your watermark and session token for IP protection.

1. Ownership during review

The POC — including all code, design, logic, and associated build artifacts — is the exclusive intellectual property of 48deploy until the full project is delivered and paid in full. Your access to the POC viewer during the review period is a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence for evaluation purposes only.

Accessing the POC does not create any ownership rights, licence rights, or other interest in the POC on your part beyond what is stated in this policy.

2. Permitted use

During the review period, you may:

  • View the POC in the in-portal viewer for the purpose of evaluating fitness for your project.
  • Navigate and interact with the POC to test its behaviour and user flows.
  • Annotate, leave feedback, and raise change requests through the portal.
  • Share your access credentials with colleagues at your organisation who are evaluating the same project, subject to this policy applying to all such users.

3. Prohibited use

You must not:

  • Copy, download, or extract any source code, design assets, or build artifacts from the POC.
  • Screenshot, record, or otherwise capture POC content for distribution outside your organisation.
  • Use the POC or any derived material in production, in another product, or in a competitive context.
  • Share access credentials, session tokens, or viewer links with anyone outside your organisation.
  • Attempt to circumvent the access controls, watermarking, or protection mechanisms of the viewer.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive the underlying implementation from what you see in the viewer.
  • Present any part of the POC as your own work or commission, whether publicly or privately.

4. Technical protection measures

The POC viewer operates on an isolated subdomain and is served under a short-lived signed token generated for your session. The following controls are active for all viewer sessions:

  • Per-user watermark visible on all content.
  • Right-click context menu, text selection, and copy keyboard shortcuts are disabled.
  • Browser print function is disabled.
  • All view and interaction events are logged with session metadata.
  • Tokens expire after the review window and cannot be reused.

These measures are deterrent and evidentiary controls — not representations of absolute protection. By accepting this policy you acknowledge that circumventing them constitutes a material breach and may result in legal action.

5. IP transfer on full project completion

When the full project is delivered and final payment is received, all intellectual property in the delivered codebase — including the work that originated in the POC — transfers to you as stated in the Terms of Service. At that point, this usage policy no longer applies to the materials you have received under handover.

6. Breach and remedies

Any breach of this policy entitles 48deploy to immediately revoke your access to the POC and portal, seek injunctive relief without the requirement to post bond, and pursue all available legal remedies for IP infringement, breach of contract, or trade secret misappropriation. Damages may include actual and consequential losses plus legal costs.
